Welcome back to a new school year! Whether you’re writing lesson plans for the first day of class, engaging students with a new phenomenon through NGSS, supporting teachers and schools through a county office, guiding young people through outdoor education, or inspiring curiosity in a museum or other science learning setting, you are part of California’s vibrant science education community. Thank you for all you do.  And we look forward to connecting and sharing ideas with you at the California Science Educator Conference in Sacramento, November 6–8, 2026. 

We also want to ensure that your conference experience is smooth and enjoyable-especially if this is your first time joining us.  The conference hospitality committee will be hosting a one-hour virtual conference preview, “Your Conference Compass,” on October 8 and again on October 21, from 4-5 p.m. Please join us to get oriented, ask questions, and learn how to make the most of your time in Sacramento.

During our time together, we’ll help you navigate the conference like a pro! You’ll learn how to network effectively with colleagues, choose sessions that align with your interests and goals, build a personalized schedule that works for you, and discover the special field trips, events, and other opportunities you won’t want to miss. Whether you’re new to CASE conferences or a seasoned attendee, we hope you’ll join us and start your conference experience feeling prepared, connected, and excited!
