The California Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science Partnership (CAL-MSCS) is a statewide initiative designed to strengthen STEM professional learning across local and statewide systems. CAL-MSCS and CASE have maintained a close partnership since the initiative's launch.

As CAL-MSCS kicks off this new school year, we invite you to connect with our team as we continue to grow the CAL-MSCS system. Our Science Leadership team commits to building the capacity of educators and their partners to provide hands-on, asset-based, and culturally responsive science learning that empowers students to ask questions, observe, and discover, enabling innovative solutions to complex challenges. We invite you to be part of our growing ecosystem and explore the many opportunities available in 2026-27, such as:

CAL-MSCS Strand at CASE | In partnership with CASE, CAL-MSCS will host a strand to uplift ongoing work and learning from our 2026 - 2027 offerings and resources at the California Science Education Conference from November 6 - 8, 2026.
NGSS NOW | This free, 2-day professional learning is designed specifically for new and emerging Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) Professional Learning (PL) providers. This foundational session explores the essential frameworks, statewide networks, and practical strategies needed to lead high-quality science initiatives across California systems.
Statewide Science Community of Practice (CoP) | Join science leaders across the state as we sustain an Inclusive System of Science Learning at the Statewide Science CoP from May 4 - 5, 2027, and more!
