Dr. Susan Gomez-Zwiep is a leading researcher and expert in science and language development. Dr. Gomez-Zwiep's research is cited in "Unlocking Learning: Science as a Lever for English Learner Equity". She is a champion for using language to provide equitable access to science learning and to accelerate language development. Dr. Gomez-Zwiep shares her expertise as a consultant to initiatives by the Exploratorium and the NGSS Early Implementers to increase participation and academic achievement for all students including English Learners.
